Creamy Overnight Oats

Knowing I had a very long morning ahead of me, I prepared this because I knew I wouldn’t have time. Jam-packed with delicious and wholesome foods that will keep me full until I can pick up a quick fruit from my bag. Then, I gotta just keep moving and going about my day. I love to be prepared for whatever the day has for me. Whether it be taking a bag of trail mix, some fruit (whole fruit, chopped fruit, Buddy Fruit pouches, freeze-dried fruit bags, veggies (mini sweet bell peppers, carrots, asparagus, homemade veggie chips), or even a handful of any of my favorite superfoods–there’s a post on my blog about that somewhere here–I always have something to munch on to keep my body active, my metabolism moving, and my hormones happy. 

Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
3 tbsp coconut sugar
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
3 tbsp chia seeds
3 tbsp hemp seeds

Optional:
ground cinnamon

Essentials:
mason jar

Instructions:
1. mix together almond milk and coconut sugar, set aside
2. add remaining ingredients into a mason jar
3. top with lid
4. shake
5. pour sweetened milk over your oats
6. refrigerate
7. eat the following morning
