These taste just like a hamburger. It’s delicious.
Ingredients:
1 (15.5 oz) can chick peas
1 tsp hamburger seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Bill Bragg’s amino acids
1 egg, or substitute
1/4 white onion, diced
spray coconut oil
red cabbage leaves
NSA ketchup
mustard
handful chives, chopped
Instructions:
1. open can of chick peas–drain and rinse
2. dice onions, set aside
3. place the chick peas along the seasonings and egg in the food processor
4. pulse until almost smooth
5. place the patty dough into a medium mixing bowl
6. add the onions to the dough and mix well with hands
7. shape into balls and press gently with the palm of your hand, thus creating a patty
8. place your raw patties on a plate
9. on a large pan sprayed with coconut oil, fry your patties on medium heat for about 5 minutes each side
10. serve in a red cabbage leaf with no sugar added ketchup, mustard, and any veggies you like on your burgers
11. garnish with chives

I know! This is why I loove to experiment with foods. And, now after seeing how nice the chick peas ground up yesterday for these patties and falafel burgers, I made these DELICIOUS “Cranberry Orange Bites”.
