Hasselback Caprese Salad

Ingredients:
sea salt
1 tomato
balsamic vinegar
handful basil leaves
4 slices fresh mozzarella

Instructions:
1. cut each slice of mozzarella in half–you should now have 8 slices
2. cut about 1/4 of an inch off the bottom of the tomato in order for it to stand up right
3. using a sharp knife slice each tomato across, making 1/4 inch slices, cutting down vertically but not hitting the bottom
4. once you have about 7-8 slices, begin inserting a basil leaf in each slit
5. now, insert a slice of the cheese in each slit
6. drizzle with balsamic vinegar and top with sea salt

Serves:
2-4
