Berry Fruity Quinoa

Berry Fruity Quinoa

1 handful raisins
1/3 cup raw quinoa
1 cup filtered water
2 tbsp coconut sugar
3 tbsp raw chia seeds
2 handfuls golden raisins
3 tbsp Mama’s Cranberry Sauce

1. add your water and quinoa into a bowl, pot, or rice cooker
2. cook for 20-30 minutes any way you’d like–I use the microwave but the stovetop is fine
3. when it’s ready, use a fork to fluff it
4. add your chia seeds and coconut sugar
5. let it sit for a few minutes
6. add all your raisins
7. last but not least, add your cranberry sauce
8. mix well
9. at this point, you can serve it or, if you want it cold, let it chill in the refrigerator

This solely depends on how you eat it. I tend to use this for quick on-the-go snacks. If served in that manner, it can serve about 8-10. If served as a full serving, 3-4.

* Good way to get kids to eat their fruits, antioxidants, and grains to pack them with energy for school.
