My Infamous Sunbutter

1 tbsp sunflower oil*
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1 cup raw sunflower seeds

1. place seeds on pan to toast on high heat
2. add the coconut sugar
3. move around while seeds toast and sugar melts
4. when it becomes pasty and brown, remove from heat
5. put the mixture into food processor
6. pulse non-stop for a few minutes
7. stop and add oil
8. pulse for about 15 minutes or until smooth–stop every few pulses and turn with spatula
9. basically serve it on ANYTHING

endless amount of desserts–makes 1 cup and a half of goodness

* can replace with oil of your choice but NOT with water or milk product–I’ve tried it and it will mold within the hour
